PS - the holiday penguin and snowman were created by culinary arts students at Baker College for the Mercy General Health Partners Home and Hearth auction in early December. A lucky bidder took home a hand crafted chocolate box with scrumptious chocolate goodies inside.

Veterans Day 2007

Today, we honor the men and women who have served our country. It is with great appreciation that we recognize their heroism and selflessness with which they serve our country. The first image is at The Moving Wall, during its stop in Fremont this summer. The second image was taken during the funeral procession of a fallen Muskegon solider.

Let us never forget those who have fought for our freedoms and the freedoms of others.
